Hello and welcome to my story,

My name is Mia Ryan McGuire a Whadjuk Noongar women from Boorloo, Perth, Western Australia. My love for photography is the way I express myself and the way I view the world. I am driven by a passion for capturing the authenticity of life, businesses, people and the natural world.

As I travel this country, my home is wherever I park it and through my photography I invite you to experience Australia from every possible angle, light and destination.

My work is a visual record of Australia today, documenting its remarkable beauty and delicate balance in a rapidly changing world. Each photograph is a tribute to my Noongar heritage, my ancestors and this Boodja, celebrating nature and serving as a call to protect the precious environment that sustains us all.

For those who may never have the chance to explore this land firsthand, my photography offers a glimpse into its heart and soul.

It's a privilege to share my journey and my work with you all no matter where you're from and it's my hope to meet with some of you along this beautiful path.

As a Whadjuk Noongar woman, I walk in the footsteps of my ancestors, on this land where the rivers meet the ocean. I acknowledge, love and respect the Noongar people, the Traditional Custodians of this land, and to the traditional Custodians of the lands where I am merely a visitor. I pay my respects to all the Elders who have cared for this Country for tens of thousands of years, to the Elders present who continue their wisdom, and to the emerging generations who will inherit this knowledge & legacy.
